Construction of slab track system "Rheda 2000" and walkways in the 4,205 m long single tracked AKWT tunnel, construction of transition sections and auxiliary works. 

Construction work carried out:

• Construction of 4,273 m of the "Rheda 2000" slab track system in a single-track tunnel including transition areas
• Ballasted tracks in precuts (incl. 3 turnouts)
• Construction of walkways
• maintenance of railway bridge, bridge road and brickwork rehabilitation
• Gap closing of turnouts
