Construction of the "Rheda 2000" slab track system in a 5,830-m-long double-track section with four single-track tunnels, bridges and several troughs.
Construction of the passable "Eiffage" track covering system in the Falkenberg tunnel.

Construction work carried out:

• construction of approx. 11,647 m of the "Rheda 2000" slab track system in single-track tunnels, in single-track troughs, on earthworks and bridges
• Construction of transition areas in the slab tracks
• Construction of the passable "Eiffage” track covering system in the single-track Falkenberg tunnel (two times approx. 2,640 m)
